POSSIBLE INJURIES IN THE
CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
Over 100 young workers risk their lives everyday to please and succeed in their workplace. Even though the rate has changed over the recent five years, there are still a majority of workers who still come home with minor injuries.
As a worker in construction, you should be extra cautious and know your surroundings. You should already be well known with your training and be mature. Horseplay can be deadly in this environment.

SLIPS AND TRIPS
You should also watch your feet, especially on heights. Alert someone when there is a spill on the ground.
FALLS FROM HEIGHTS
Try to always have someone taller than you to help you with higher objects. Certain boxes can contain heavy objects that harm you severely.


HIT BY SOMETHING
As said before, always be aware of your surroundings. When there is a machine on, you should clear the area with your co-workers and immediately contact your supervisor.
SOME TIPS
Always ask for training clarification from supervisor
Voice your concerns to your supervisors if you see any hazardous tasks/equipment
Never be scared to contact a supervisor about a concern
Know your privileges and responsibilities as a worker
